Noticed my backbox is making a rough rattling noise, I got told it sounds like the baffles inside my backbox, and its defiantly not my heat shield.
Far as I knew backbox's were hollow and the sound was judged on the dimensions 
Is it worth fixing or should I just replace it all together ?

They aren't just hollow no but are you sure it's the backbox? Could be another part.
And loose exhaust clamps are also common suspects. Just take it off and see if it is the problem. If it is then isn't worth fixing no.

I'll be jacking it up next week sometime and looking properly then, wouldn't mind an aftermarket backbox anyways, give it a better purr !

Sounds about right,the baffles inside are made of mild steel and they rust which makes them come loose and then they rattle about
If you give the backbox a thump you can normally hear the baffles rattling
If they are loose then there's nothing you can do except replace it

Yeah, just give it a welly and sounded like a lot of rattling inside. Is it a case of hacksawing the backbox of and welding on a new one? or is there a method to it

No shouldn't be any sawing needed
It should be joined to the centre section by a clamp
