Hi all, i was wondering, is it possible to make a neon like get brighter when the sub 'pounds' more, and if so, can anyone explain how to do it, does this make sense? lol

you would probably need a resistor which is sensitive to the beat

it is possible indeed, my mate did this in his car as he works with electrics. He explained to me how he done it but it went straight over my head Smile

although thinking about it you probably couldnt vary the brightness of a neon light due to the nature of it, i may be wrong though

I did this with LED but theu were in 6x9s but im sure it wont make much difference. Just connect the positive and negative wires to the speaker wire. When there is more bass there is more electric current passing through the sub and LED and therefore it becomes brighter.

However this is realy chavvy and you will be laughed at lol trust me i did it 6 years ago

The mod is fine for people who enjoy the ICE side of things as long as its done well.
