Hello people
I have recently bought a pair of Depo angeleyes from ebay that were listed as able to use existing electric leveller motors. I have tried and tried to get them in with no luck. The manual adjuster on the depo unit have 3 locating slots whereas the peugeot levellers have 5 locators. Has anyone any ideas on this or even bought a set and fitted the motors? The ebay shop I got them from was EnergizedCustoms2 from Wolverhampton. I have had nothing but hassle with them since I got them, they are supplied with a fused relay harness which makes no sense at all and when fitted only 1 side lights up so I binned the harness and linked it straight to the side lights. I then went to get them aligned at a MOT station only to be told they were for a LHD. On that issue there is a metal sprung lever beside the dipped beam bulb that needed to be moved which involved stripping the lights down and was a total pain. The lights were £120 which is cheap but I wish I had bought different ones now. So has anyone bought these and fitted the levellers?
Please pass this info on to your friends and clubs as they are being falsely listed in what they can do. Also the bulbs are H7 type and a completely different connection from a H4 set-up, thankfully this connection is tied back in the original loom.
I look forward to any comments and advice.

Just one thing from me, you should have bought mine. Its for right hand drive, doesn't have a stupid harness, all the lights work... And all that for half the price.

Yer I got black angel eyes for sale too, sounds better then the ones u bought, they come with the stalk and adapters, and work with the peugeot leveller, I am looking for £135 posted for the whole lot

For £120 you can buy Ultra Angel Eyes new from ebay. (imo the best ones made). I could not get the automatic adjusters into mine no matter how hard I tried, I tried for about 3 days, then gave up and fitted the manual ones again.

You have to do it the correct way, well obviously, but I mean you have to get the little rod all the way out, and slide it into tube inside the light,

I have yet to see official 'ultra' ones on ebay for £120's from a business, I am led to believe the ultra ones do allow for your electric leveller to work

These are official ultra angel eyes and they are new for just under £120 from a business (they came in the ultra box with all of the ultra documentation, you can tell they are ultra by the small sidelight lens and the way the main beam halo dips under the black plastic at the bottom of the headlight.)

I know how to get the motors in, fully extend them and slide the balljoint into the holder. however even with the motor fully extended and the balljoint holder fully up inside the headlamp there was still a 2cm gap between the two. it wasnt even close. the manual adjusters were far longer.

Yeh, I pulled the slidey bit back as far as it would go with my finger through the dipped hole, even fully back with the motor fully extended there was a huge gap between the two, they wouldnt even touch. The manual adjusters were much longer and went in easily.

Once the lights are adjusted correctly its not much of an issue though.
