Went to this yesterday, at Santa Pod. Couldn't make the most of the show due to the weather... it rained, quite a lot, and showed no sign of stopping. Got soaked basically. It got to the point where I couldn't be much more wet, so I just carried on looking at the cars and snapping pictures. Never the less, saw some sweet cars so it's all good  .
I immediately fell in love with this oval window Beetle which I was parked near to:

nice pics  some wicked cars/van/buses there  i have a soft spot for the old vw
and i thought there must have been some vw show going on by the amount on the roads around here lol loads of vw buses i see about,

You could say it's silly, but I think they look absolutely brilliant. A lot of the aircooled stuff run narrow front beams although not usually as extreme as that bay window, the Golf is unusual though, must have took some work to get the wheels sitting that far in.

Vw shows are always so different to the usual stuff. Wtf is up with that boat? 
The guy with the red lupo near the top used to live close to me, looked so much nicer before he went completely overboard with stickers and other stuff...

The black golf convertible is very nice, & I can appreciate the restored classic's. But there's some right old piles of s**t there, especially the stupidly low crap!!
