I'm looking for some parts which need to be the colour code EXY.

I'm aware there are two different blacks (most people on eBay don't know which code theirs is). I have just read online that the two blacks can be the same depending on if they are phase 1 or 2.

Anyone know if this is correct and from what year was phase 2 cars introduced?

1.4 8v EXL

Phase 1 is EXY (flat)
Phase 2 is EXL (metallic, 2003-2009)
