hi i have a 1999 1.4 glx and i curbed my car a few weeks back, now every time i drive under 20 mph my wheel makes a thud noise and asif the wheel was limping up and down a little, was hoping that my tires just need replacing, am i right?

Jack the car up and spin the wheel by hand.... you will soon see the problem

i am unsure what wheel it it sounds like one of the back ones, dont really want to splash out loads of cash getting ripped off by a garage, i am only a student and saving up for a 1.6 XSI i will jack it up and spin all the wheels though

my car needs to be tracked because it is off balance could this be the broblem i am getting the wheels tracked and replaced next paycheck

did you jack it up.... thats a good start point. I would suggest you need to take care of this before it becomes a problem

jack up the car and check everything....
or scrap it

Sounds like a damaged tyre or buckled wheel.
