I have just bought a GTI steering wheel and the bloke said its off of a 2004 model but i did some reading and my 2002 van should have the same wheel and airbag. now looking at the gti wheel the airbag bolts on where as my wheel there is a clit. Will this still fit?

There is a clit in your steering wheel..

lol stay well away from it, if you turn the airbag on  it might deploy
