Hi There as a Newbie to the Forum I am posting this in this section as I'm sure somebody will know the answer. I recently drained my Gearbox as I replaced the clutch on my 2001 1.9 Diesel DW8 engine. I have topped it up with suitable replacement (75/80) but was'not sure as to the quantity needed ?
Does anybody know how much i should be putting in ?
Much appreciated

someone was telling me before about this 80 year old woman who used to fill up her own oil, but she didnt know about the filler cap, and used to put a funnel in the pipe for the dipstick and fill it untill it was flowing out that pipe. Which for a while she managed to get away with. Then one day someone showed her the filler cap on the top. Needless to say after the amount of oil that she put in it, it wasnt long after that it started to develop a few problems....
