Thanks everyone
Whilst I'm here I might as well ask. When I changed my engine oil yesterday I noticed the sump gasket had a thin lining of black oil/gunk, is that ok?

my mate had a saxo and he run it for a long time with no oil. you could shake the stick in gear like it was neutral. Like a stick in a bucket. I admit I have given my box a hard time but day-today I look after it. I like to drive smooth.
One question does changing gear quickly make much difference to wear as long as the clutch is perfectly smooth?

What normally breaks on them when too larger alloy wheels are fitted? Ive got Vortex alloys on mine and its going for a remap next month for more power, im replacing the oil this weekend but what should I be looking out for mechanically thats going to go?

synchros is the first part to worn off;
probably put more stress on the differential if bigger wheels are used.

Its also the same with the engine turned off and clutch down, still the same clunkiness
