my car came with morettes so im cluless :L....when I was going to change a headlight bulb i noticed there was a wire with a fuse in line its not connected to anything ? its on the drivers side coming out the main beam. Is this normal or is this probably why the lights not working main beam on that side ?

Put it to the positive on the battery, job fixed, morettes require extra power....

If i unhook the battery to put it to the positive, do i need to do a reset or something special because of the bsi ? im new to 206s... or can i just unhook it and then reattach ?

Just remove the fuse from the 'detached' wire while you connect it.

on 206's with crystals as standard, that wire doesnt need to be connected to the +ve terminal btw.
It only affects when fullbeam+dippedbeam are on together so wouldnt affect a single optic not working.

What He Said I suspect your bulbs gone, If your car is pre 2001 you dont have to worry about the BSI shutdown and startup procedure, if your car is post 2001 you must shut it down correctly or you could kill it. You cant just unplug the battery from multiplexed cars.

My advice would be to research first before just plugging it into the battery. If things happen to go pop you will regret it Razz
