Chaps.

After the third successive let down by a prospective buyer of the pug I no longer have time to sell it before the tax expires.

re-taxing the car requires insurance and MOT both of which have lapsed which is why I *had* to sell the car before tax ran dry. It's got a week left.

I'll therefore have to SORN the vehicle now.

My question to you chaps is, does anyone on here regularly break cars for parts?

I'm not asking for advice. I'm offering you my car. This is a pug 206 1.6 8v in sapphire black, 2003 so phase 2; crystal lights new bootlid design etc.

I also have a spare bumper, spare pass headlight, and black sp front grille (zunsport powdercoated) plus a few misc bits and pieces. The front of a GTi interior is fitted and it has a 16v 1.4 quicksilver exhaust. It has GTi alloys fitted with Toyo T1R tyres. I will also supply the 14" steelies which are all inflated and in good condition as well as a reconditioned steering rack which I never fitted, the original steering wheel and air bags.. everything I can find.

I'd want 400 for the car. for whatever you want it for. It must be worth 1500 minimum in parts (I bought a PAS pump for the car and that cost me £60 by itself!

I have not the time nor inclination to strip the car myself so if anyone else wants to have a dabble then feel free! You can alternatively, obviously, buy and NOT strip the car.. or take it if there's a few parts you need etc.

If you dont want to pay cash up front I'd also be willing to discuss commission for example you give me 30% of whatever you make for each part and keep the rest for yourself.

Just please, whatever the scheme, come and take this bloody car out of my carpark. I'm sick to the teeth of it.

xx
Dave.

Mate if you offer me £400 you can come pick it up. Needs trailering though as not road legal atm.

I just want it gone.

All details are in the topic I linked at the end of my previous post.

Sad because you wouldn't get much from breaking it but a lot of use as a track car. I have no space on my drive at the moment but should be after another car in 5-6 weeks, if you do still have it I would make you an offer.

Appreciate that. I loved this car for a long time but have just moved on.. Only problem is: The car isn't quite complete. It's a great track car but not series ready obviously, would be another 1500 quid or so to get series ready. And that is money I don't want to throw at something I've fallen out of love with!
