Hi, first post but been reading and following the how to's for quite a while..
Anyway, i just received this flip key in the post the other day... (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300596241712)
Just been to the local key cutters, and they can't cut it, apparently it has the wrong blade.. Went to another and the same story... And twice again they said it was wrong!
I know further down the how-to there was a post saying to get a different key, but the OP used the key i got, and i assume many more people also have! Can anyone give a bit of insight? Was looking forward to flicking people on the nose with my new sexy key!
Thanks in advance!
Dave.

Hi mate i dont know why they are saying they cannot cut your key because its the wrong blade because anyone who has followed my guide has used the one i linked to which you have
Id probably google a few cutting places which arent as local to you and see if they can do it for you if your locals arent

IIRC there are two types of blade for the 206. When you order the fob from some places they list both blades. Is your original blade the flat square type or the type with the hole in the tip

there are 2 blade types for most pugs, i had a similar issue with my 306 keys, i had to go to pug in the end (£5 including cutting) for just the blade. it maybe he has sent the wrong one.
edit: macca beat me to it

Thats what i thought, surely they MUST have cutting services, even if its not an official key you would have thought they would just try and make me pay through the nose!

Just looked at your link OP, and its not the right blade for the 206. You need the blade that Macca linked.

Thats a LASER cut blade, totally useless for a 206.
