I have been wanting to test the fuel consumption on my 180 for the first time but my fuel gauge needle is hovering just above E yet there isn't that yellow warning light and beep. Just thinking that it might be spoilt and I'll end up on the side of the road with no fuel.

On my 138 it beeps when it's just below 1/8 but the 180 I'm almost kissing the first red line but no low fuel warning. Dash says I can go about 100km more on the 180 but I don't want to be a victim of failed warning systems lol. Do the 2 cars have different fuel volume from the point of low fuel warning to dry empty?

Haha, thats why my dad always takes his evo to test just before fuel light comes on, stops the testers thinking they can go for a sneaky ride in it. Unless they want to pay the fuel bill haha.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

When I test drove a few gti's some time back most of the cars by dealers had low fuel on it.. Could only do 0-60 around the corner and that's it.

"How's the car?"

Couldn't drive very much, *give a face*

Just brim your tank & reset the trip. Then after a couple of hundred miles, or so, brim it again & note how much fuel it took. Then do the maths. No light needed.
