I was driving today back home, when i stepped on it 3rd gear started pulling and suddently the engine cut off!! I pulled to the side and tryed to start the car repeatedly and nothing happened....

5 to 10 minutes later i starded the car as normal and drove home, the engine management light is on now, and shows anti-pollution fault...

any ideas?
im probably popping in a garage to have the codes read.

i started the car this... morning and, its all normal, no engine management light and no anti-pollution fault... now that is odd, but im still going to have the codes read

I had same thing, but i wasnt driving and it just failed. but i turned mine straight back on again. but yeah i would say codes need to be read cuz my abs warning light came on shortly after

I had the same problem, but mine was due to the exhaust pipe which tore off just before the O2 sensor.
