I got a 206Gti Radiator from AutoSpares , they told me its some universal s**t and gave me a few rubber sleeve type things to blank off the unused holes
for some reason 2-3 months after i fitted it and was running it started over heating when idling in traffic i pulled over to let it cool when i started it again 15minutes after the rubber Cap Split! and emptied the radiator all over the road :/ any ideas on where i can get these rubber cover things from as Autospares are denying all knowledge of ever selling it me ( like a pleb i didn't keep the receipt ) and any ideas why the radiator fan only kicks in when the temp gauge is maxed

I say just cut your losses and go get a genuine one for your car saves messing around and you know its the right one, so any issues lie elsewhere then.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

I'd get a genuine one if I were you, then at least you know it will fit.
Don't argue the opinions of idiots.
They will bring you down to their level and win through experience.

Thats exactly what happened to mine, its a universal rad and was over heating etc. I just took it to my local garage and they capped the holes with thick hose and metal caps. Never done it sice and its only over heated once in the last 3 months.
