Hey. I've bought a Pipercross Viper kit second hand and it looks a bit dusty. Does anyone know how to clean the filter inside?

Thanks!

Why would you suggest putting the standard on?

Pipercross filter oil.
Spray it onto the filter once its dry.
You oil the filter to catch more debris.

Or if you cant be bothered, sell it to me because I could do with a new one. Mines a bit worse for wear now.

Why do people sell fuel magnets, and electronic superchargers? Do you really think Peugeot went through the whole designing and manufacturing stage (spending £££££'s) to not come up with one of the best outcomes?

Also, do you think these other companies went through the same hassle and cost?

Peugeot designed and developed the best compromise of performance, noise output, fuel economy, service life and cost when developing induction exhaust systems.

Aftermarket filters dont have the same constraints/ expectations placed upon them. The focus is on creating noise and delivering performance rather than fuel economy and everyday ergonomic use.

It is unfair to compare the two like for like because you will find that they are designed to deliver two different outcomes.
