I noticed that when i turn the key in the switch the oil gauge will show me the amount of oil by lighting up and moving the needle to the correct place.
BUT - i also noticed that from time to time when i turn the key the needle will go up for one second then go down for one second, then up and down again.. anybody have a guess...?

Couldn't agree more I do only count on the dipstick, but again it's interesting, could be just a glitch though.. still happens from time to time, usually when engine is still hot, the needle will go up and down 2 times in a one second interval.
anyway bumped this just in case someone else saw this happening and also wanted to know what's it doing.

Fit and plug the sensor in, reconfigure the BSI and fit new clocks with lower mileage than yours.
