evening people, bought my first 206 last night owned for approx 12 hours before the usual french build quality started to show lol, gear linkage dropped off on motorway (brilliant getting home with only 3rd, 4th and 5th gears selectable) sorted that easy enough but now the monster sunroof has decided to be a t**t, fuse is fine and can hear motor running ok but nothing is doing with the actual roof. ive managed to get it closed and water tight (ish) but where the hell do i start trying to sort this??? ANY pointers will be greatly appreciated

there will probably be some sort of pulley system to open and close it, maybe the belt/cables come off or snapped

what happens if you hold down the open/shut switch? does it run for ever or does it go so far before you here a jamming noise,
i think it may run the same mechansim as electric window, the motor is definitely the same anyway!
