Lose the sunstrip, de-badge, colour code, some nice OEM alloys, lower it and some phase 2 front & rear lights !

I dont want to p**s on your fire, but you are better off it being standard for a couple of years then buy something better. Just my opinion |
listen to the lad with the carbon bonnet, gti body kit and morettes on his 1.4.
start with the simple mods, dont go ott... gti alloys, lowering springs, colour code, gti bumpers are always good but not too noticeable...
as long as you stick to Peugeot parts (i.e gti bits) not 'ripspeed' then the car will look good not ott... plus insurance will have a very hard job proving its not factory fitted...

Not true, they can find out what your car had fitted when it left the factory.

Just leave it standard. Enjoy the decent mpg and smooth ride quality that they offer.

Dont really see the point in gettin ph 2 rear lights as the ones i have now are sprayed black and the 2 rear side window stickers are coming off tommorow, thinking about a spoiler for the next mod on it aswell, need some advice on the debadge tho, as the badges have been on for 9 years and im thinking that this will show clearly no matter the amount of scrubbing i put into it.

Hair Dryer, thin wire or credit/bank card behind and be careful and take your time. Then use some sort of tar remover to take away whatever is left behind!

Mine is a 2000, de-badged it and it came up a treat.

Mines is also a 2000 and when I took badges off you could tell the difference in the paint, but used some tar & glue remover I got off a mate ( he fits and removes vinyls for a living ) and it worked a treat !
