to be honest car was getting a few things done ready for croft and he took it out after engine was serviced wash polished the back end just let loose on a bend and spun 90 degrees T-boned into the front of a oncomming car, thats all i know..

oops.... Thats why I never drive the rally car fast on the road.... thats a massive shame, I bet the police will have a good look at what happened given the modifications on the car.... were all mods declared to the insurers?

Did it ever run a faster 1/4 mile time than 16.37? And is this a typical figure for a GTI 180???

no it was never time tested but it was a good engine
gutted over 5k spent insurance was on a temp cover with mods declered so fingers crossed.. hopefull i will get to see the car tomorrow ...
