its quite simple once you have done it once tbh, like i say tho a haynes will help you loads.

have you tried mr clutch, i would not recomend them, as it took them 7 attempts to get teh clutch right in my old civic, but as far as gearbox rebuilds go they did a good job on mine, ok it was done for free as a clutch they fitted, sort of exploded in there, and made a mess. but i assume there was a reasonable price otherwise i doubt they would have referbed it. either way give thm a call and see what they say.
other than that, like others have said it need specialist equiptment, i did an engine and box swap on a nova and that was a PITA, so i would not recomend it to anyone, unless you happen to have a mate whos a fully trained machanic next to you doing all he work, lol.

It makes me feel better knowing I paid £175 for my box being removed, new bearings, plannet gears, clutch plate and re-fitting.

Just a local garage my mate works at. the boss knows me too. The re-conditioners next door wanted about £30o and something but that was for the job lot.

Yeah the parts are quite cheap and if I take out the gearbox and asked a recon workshop to fit the bearing/washer kit they still want £300, that works out at 150 per hour as they said its about 2 hours work wftf!

should cover how to change all the bearings and seal.
and in fact differential bearing is easy to do and you don't even need to drop the box.
(beware the guide is for BE box not MA but they are similar)
