On:
Rear fog lamp tell tale not working. [Fixed - Bulb/Fuse]
Offside rear fog lamp not working. [Fixed - Fuse]
offside headlamp not working on dipped beam. [Fixed - Bulb]
Offside headlamp insecure [Fixed - 3 of 6 bolts missing ]
Nearside headlamp aim too low.
(fuel tank) fuel system component leaking [Fixed - Perished seal]
and a balding rear tyre.
So apart from the fuel tank, are these easily fixable. I would have asked someone at kwik-fit, but it seemed like they just wanted me out.
Hopefully they are all things I can do myself.
Thanks for any help.

Well sounds like the top 3 are bulbs,
Headlight are all the bolt there and tight??
And the headlight aiming low, they should re-adjust that for you
And you need a new rear tyre
Doesn't sound to bad

Actually I did. I ordered a whole new set of bulbs...which were on my door step when I got back after failing, partly from me leaving it a day too long before ordering, but all my lights worked until last night when my offside headlight stopped working, which I told them as I haded my keys over.
I did forget about my rear fog though =(
And I changed all the bulbs in my speedo not a week ago (see my many threads about bulbs ) that one must have been a dud.

What sort of car are you on about?
A 206 only has 1 rear fog lamp, and that's in the centre of the rear bumper.
A Kwik Fit MOT...enough said really.

Yeah it says
002 Offside rear Rear fog lamp not working [1.3.2b]
Also, I changed the bulb in the speedo for the rear fog...but I swear I've never had that light work? I assumed as the rear fog comes on with the front fogs there was no need for 2 lights...strange.
Also, I have a clear smoked fog light, does the bulb I put in it have to be red? or can I just use a clear bulb?

With the fog light and its tell tale not working, it might not just be a case of changing the bulb, it looks like a more serious electrical problem. Did it work before you changed it to a clear smoked one? Did you test it after you changed it?

Bulbs and tyres are the easiest thing to check before a mot. I'm shocked they are even on the fail list as these should be things that are checked regularly. I know you said you ordered them but I would have thought it would have been best to book the mot after you received them. If the fuel system was ok just by changing them you could have saved yourself the hassle of a retest. And I'm even more shocked they didn't just quickly adjust the headlight for you. Every mot station I have used in the past would have done this automatically.

I'm 99.998% sure that the rear fog light tell tale has never worked on my car Anyway, It worked before I changed it, and after.

Thinking about it, it might be a blown fuse, cause when my ppt40 burned out a few months ago, the display on my aircon unit went too, though the buttons still light up, the display doesnt.
Anyone know which set of fuses to check, or should I just check them all?
Does the BSI contain fuses?
