Don't know if it's a fault or not but when I put on the front demister/blower as per the instructions ie turn up to 28 and then press the the demister button I'm expecting hot air to be coming out the windscreen vents rather than just normal temperature air. Air con seems to be working fine at low temperatures . Is this right or is there something wrong, just want to get it sorted if so before we have a proper frost.

Assuming you've let the engine warm up first?

Yes pollen filter changed. The fan is fine at temperature if the engine is heated I can put the fan position to windscreen and it will clear quickly. I'm talking about the auto demist function that kick the AC function on - I've never found any difference between whacking the fan on full and directing it to the windscreen outlets compared to the auto other than auto using A/C

Digital climate control?

AC & AUTO settings both use the air con system to help dry the air.

Front demist button just fires up the rapid demist program.

If you stick it in ECO its just a plain normal heater.

The A/C does help to clear the window quicker as well.
