Had the ABS light flash up about a month ago, but it went away pulling away and not seen it since

Since then whenever I have had to brake hard to a stop (people pulling out, pillocks reversing from places so that you don't see them till they are in your path) I can feel the front drivers side brake lock, and this is from only 15/20mph, and only when the brake is pressed quite far in. Its happened 3 times now

I also find that when braking gently towards a slow stop sometimes the car will steer slightly to the right, but this has been happening intermittently for some time now

I am assuming that this is all linked to one cause, I just don't know what could be the problem though.

Thanks for any help

Have you looked at the condition of your pads and discs.

When I looked at the pad indicator a few months ago they were good, I know warped disks and uneven pad wear will cause the steering to the right.

When the light came on I checked that the ABS sensors were in properly, as my mate had changed my suspension the day before and that might have been to do with it

Is the locking problem more likely to be an ABS sensor or time for new pads and disks?

Rare for the ABS rings to break on the TU powered 206's.
