so iv booked my car into get roof+bonnet wrapped in carbon fibre, anyone here had it done? how much do u think my insurance will go up by, worth telling them?

my wingmirrors got wrapped in pearlesent white carbon fibre. Cost me £50 at the time, although only a mont ago someone wripped my wingmirror off to nick the wrapped cap
One bad point, there a b!**h to clean, especially white

No idea on the cost, here's an idea, why dont you try ringing your insurance company up & ask them.
Your an idiot if you dont tell them about the modification, no point in paying money for insurance when you then go & invalidate it with undeclared mods

Not telling them will void your insurance if you get caught, so it's upto you.
Always best to tell them.
Just a thought. Maybe you should have asked your insurance before you booked it in.

Do you have do declare interior mods? Like if you put a 180 binnicle in or cc'd some interior bits?

Any modification has to be declared, as the insurers say its "more desirable" to thieves.

If you change anything on the car that wasn't on it when it came out of the factory classes as a modification, i told admiral everything even down to changing to sports bumpers and wings, just to be on the safe side.
