discovered my central locking isn't workin all of a sudden after a year of no problems with it, changed the battery in my key and the lil light on the key flashes rapidly when pressed but nothin is happenin with lockin or unlocking, no noises or flashin lights n cant lock the door manually either because my barrels are seized or the previous owner changed key but not lock barrels. i can still use the key to start the car tho so its not affectin my immobilizer. any ideas of what could of caused this n how i cant get it sorted as im not likin leavin it unlocked Sad

After bettery replacement of the remote fob you normally have to resync it with the car before it will work.

1 or 2 button fob as it makes a difference to the instructions you need.

Your 206 has deadlocking then Wink

CENTRAL DOOR LOCK with DEADLOCKING (2 BUTTON PLIP KEY)

1. Ensure all doors are unlocked using the key.

2. Press and HOLD the large plip key button while the LED flashes continuously for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds press the small deadlock button once while still holding the large button.

3. The LED will stop flashing.

4. Release the large button and the LED will light constantly.

5. Press the large button once and the LED will go out.

6. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch and press the large plip button once.

7. Turn the ignition ON, wait 10 seconds and then turn the ignition OFF.

8. After 5 seconds the Plip should now operate
