Divers door lock bouncing

Hi again, more problems !!! My drivers door lock will not unlock using the key fob, (it just bounces) all other doors unlock/lock ok. However, if I use the door lock button on the dash the drivers door unlocks/locks with no problems.

Ive tried squirting the door lock/solenoind with WD40 but its still the same. Is the key fob at fault (doubtful) or is the solenoid on its way out.

If it is the solenoid, is it easy to replace and does it need to be sync'd to the car?

Ive searched the "problems" pages and cant really find a definative answer.

Quick update on the bouncing lock. Just taken it out (eventually) and gave it a good clean and spayed with copious amounts of WD40 and "hey Presto" its working fine now.


	An Ex '03 1.4 GLX driver, German technology all the way now.
