Continental Sport Contact 3's seem very highly rated.

Read the tyre test.
www.autoexpress.co.uk/..._2011.html
1st Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 2
2nd Michelin Pilot Sport 3
3rd Pirelli P Zero
New / tyres with the most tread should ALWAYS be fitted to the REAR axle

Tyre tests aren't great as they only test tyres on a specific car. I used F1s on my TF and they were great, put them on my corolla and they were shocking, put p zeros on and it was spot on.
As for always putting new on the back...meh, so long as you understand what grip you have and where, its irrelevant.

Michelin for me everytime.
Pilot Exalto PE2's at the moment.
Over the years i've found:
Not a fan of Pirelli after there crappy P6000's.
Goodyear's wear out far to fast & puncher easily.
Bridgestone & Firestone, not impressed with the levels of grip provided from either make.
Dunlop = usless in wet.

You'd be better off running the car with no tires than with ZZ3's lol.
I dont think you can get the P7000 any more, personally id go for the Michelin PE3 or Conti Sport Contact 3...quite pricy though.

I just swapped mine round as the front seems to wear faster than the back, if owt ive found that the front on mine lets go well before the rear, saying that i dong have a useless torsion bar

That torsion bar arrangement is more advanced than your current torsion beam setup!

but my torsion beam means i can go round corners faster without cocking a leg, the back end kicking out or any roll! i can also have different set up in spring and dampering rates, although the Cup setup doesnt need changing
