Hi guys

Just sorting out my wifes 206 and found that the antenna was just glued in Sad guess that's why reception was crap.

Anyway, it does have a threaded end about 15mm long, yet the thread inside the head unit (on roof) looks to be much deeper in.
So I am wondering if this is the right antenna for the car?

Can anyone guide me on getting a replacement?

Thanks

Mike

Thanks, can anyone confirm the length of the threaded pin on the end of the antenna? that way I can decide if I need the base or new antenna, thanks.

Mine snapped off, just get the aerial base so you don't have to re-wire:

£6.43 from dealer (656110) or £6.49 from egay.

While your at the dealer, might as well get the new washer nut for it too 693648 £0.41. At least then you know you have the right parts to make a good connection.

People seem to avoid going to the dealers because they think they are expensive. I've always found them fairly competitive on most items, plus you have the added bonus of knowing they are genuine and not some cheap import with a knocked up picture to advertise it.

Hi and thanks, which bit snapped off please? I am trying to establish if the bolt on the base of the antenna is too short or if the threaded cup in the base is at fault?

The base threaded off as I tried to tighten it back in place. Remove interior light and look if the bolt is secure, if it is and the aerial is wobbling then probably you have same problem I had. If you are too fiddly with it then it will snap so careful.
