Hi
Have just bought my first peugeot 206 51 plate, 1.9 diesal in white.
Its already been slightly modified, but could do with some TLC and some extras so am looking for some tips on what more could be added. Will post some pics soon to show you how it looks and whats been already done to it.

I also have a problem in the mornings when its cold, its struggles to start at first until after a few minutes and it runs just fine, the engine also moves alot on intitial start up when cold aswell.
Most of the lights behind the speedo and rev count arent working either
Any thoughts would be much appreciated

for the lights behind the speedo you can change the bulbs if you take it apart, and with the bad starting are you waiting for the glow plug light to turn off? could be bad glow plugs or not enough power in the battery, diesels take more power to start than petrols

Welcome to the site Waving o/
I wouldn't worry about it taking longer to start on cold mornings, happens my diesel too, just don't let it sit for more than 2 days in a frosty/cold week without starting it up and going for a spin as mine has failed to start twice on me because of that! Jump-started it no problem and its been flying since!

Get a new battery, sounds like the one you've got is dying. You might have a slightly blocked injector, thats why it runs roughly for a couple of minutes, try some diesel engine injector cleaner. It doesnt sound like a glow plug to me as once the engine had started the glow plugs aren't used as internal combustion takes over.
