Wait for warmer weather first. Makes it easier to get liner off and drys quicker. Also would mean you don't accidentally spray parts of your kitchen floor black and annoy the other half

Is it easy to remove and put back in then?

Simples. 12 torx screws, and a 'bit' of pulling.

I used brake cleaner and a scraper to get mine off. Brake cleaner cuts thought the glue well and still leaves it nice and tacky for when it goes back up. not that you need it the whole thing is ridged. I took it off at my mates a few streets away and they realised I needed to carry it back to my hose
