Hi all
Fitted my stereo today. Problem is the car loses all presets when it goes into Eco mode. I have followed the how to and tried it with both the live and ignition live as normal and also stopped over but it still does it. I found a fuse switching solution posted but it doesn't match my fuse box.

Would it cause any problems to run my own perm live from the battery for the stereo.

No that would be fine you could probably find a perminant live closer. If you have a voltmeter see if you are definitely using a constant 12v perminant and then an ignition live. Generally on plexd cars it's the ignition feed which is the tricky one to find. Tapping into the cigarette lighter once you have made it into an ignition feed, there is a how to on moving the fuse, is the easiest

Thanks jim jam problem fixed. Got a volt meter and my stereo illumination was a switched live. Swooped them over and stereo is good.

Now for another problem. The heater controls don't light up. I have pulled it out but what seemed like bulbs didn't come out. Do I need to strip this down to get to them. Fuses under dash looked good.
