Hi
I got in my car this morning to notice that a trickle of water had ran down the inside of the windscreen and traces back to just above the mirror. I did try searching for this problem, but it doesn't help when people don't title their threads appropriately.
Is it just a case of the seal letting a bit in directly above, or could it have got in through the roof runners, down the seal from the side and then get inside through the middle of the seal?
I would apreciate any help, as my main concern is that there isn't any of water sitting somewhere metal causing rust, any advice on cheap fixes would be great too
Thanks
Andrew

The inside of my windscreen was frozen as bad as the outside this morning. If you suffer from that too it may just be a dribble from that condensation.

The aerial is at the back, it was frosted up this morning but I put a piece of paper just through the lining and it was a bit wet there, could it just be the frost expanded the seal a bit?

Is it the original Peugeot factory fitted windscreen or has it been replaced in the past?

Happened again today from the same place, only one drop of water run down the screen like last time. Because of the direction my house faces my car is always in the shade which makes it really frosty, and this is only happening once the frost has melted

Ive never heard of an original factory fitted 206 windscreen leaking before.
Wonder if its ever been removed / refitted in the past?
I have known other makes of car have original screens leak after a few years & need removal / refitting to get them water tight again, might be an idea to ask a small local windscreen place / fitter for advice.

Thanks for your response MrBSI
My neighbor reckons that it was to do with the frost letting the water expand past the seal, its not been frosty the last couple of mornings and it hasn't happened
I'll wash this weekend and see what happens to confirm the problem
