Hi
The missus had got a 206 with a crappy al4 gearbox, it keeps flashing the ice and sports buttons and goes into limp mode.
Now I'm going to get her a new gearbox off the warranty but is there anyway I can stop the car going into limp mode?
Or stop it from flashing the sport and snow button as it very annoying.
I know it needs fixing but I will get around to it eventually, I know you can restart the car and restarts the sensors but is there any other solutions?

Not until you fix the gearbox. The ECU is trying to prevent things getting worse. Is it a Peugeot warranty?

Thanks for that but thats not the only reason why the ice and snow buttons flash.

What mileage is yours at. I would say it wouldnt do any harm chaging gearbox oil anyway.

Its 68,000 miles, changed it but still flashes mate.

Same gearbox, same mileage here 
I dont think you'll be able to stop it from going into Limp mode. You'll need to get the codes read first to find out what the cause is.
