Looks like the sensor for the auto wipers and rain sensor is missing. I would look into why that isnt there, unless you already know?

Yup already know, previous cheapskate owner just had a standard 206 windscreen fitted rather than the proper one. Cant say it bothers me though, not really essential items

Did you look under the bonnet to make sure it had a gti 180 engine?  All joking a-side, peugeot are known for a few mis-builds!
