When I put boot up my spoiler bends my aerial upwards, is this normal? Does my spoiler look oem or after market?
Thank,

Would a bee sting aerial not clear it? - If i fit a genuine on mine I know it will hit.

Could get a shark fin aerial or there's a stubby one that fits on to the standard fitting

Normal, later models had the aeriel mount moved slightly further forward to prevent rubbing.
Could always try fitting a Peugeot stubby aeriel.

It doesn't really bother me I was just wondering if I had a knock off spoiler or something.
A simple design feature would have been a recess in the spoiler, good old Peugeot.

whatever you do! DO NOT change it for one with coils that go around it i found out the hard way it makes a hole in your spoiler

My car does it aswell, taken the paint right off the spoiler where the antenna rubs
Was like that when i bought it, only 2 years old.. If i repaint it one day, i'm definately getting another ariel!!

I looked at the stubby antenna option and when the boot is at full upright position you have less than 2 inches of room for an antenna. Hardly seems any point in changing it for an antenna that would fit as it would probably be useless.
And the smallest I saw on fleabay was 3 inch before I got bored and decided to keep it as it is.

Official Peugeot fix for this issue is a small piece of clear sticky tape
