I need to repair the clock lights in the centre console, i've tried soldering the pins back on the board but to be honest it ain't going to happen, so i've decided the best course of action is to take a feed from the 4 bulbs and run it too a live bulb feed else where in the dash.

Does anyone know the best place to pick a feed up from ? I'm assuming the lights in the dash/ventilation panel would be best, but has any got a clue as to which wire.

Thanks
Steve

I don't recommend doing that, because you may have a short circuit, replacing the clock would be the best choice if I were you.

Interesting, so on my gti 2001 non plex, will fitting a better clock give me more features?

What are the benefits of changing?
