I'm looking at either buying some black angels, or crystals and masking them but I then had a thought..why not try and modify what I've got!

I'm looking to change the LED's to be much brighyer like BMW headlights and wire them to a live feed so when the engine is on they come on like auto lights!

How mch would someone be willing to charge for this as I'm not very dappa with a soldering iron!

Also what bulbs do people recommend for the best light output - currently own Philips diamond vision and they aren't that good!

Thanks

BMW halo rings are CCFL's (cold-cathode fluorescent lamps) to change the brightness of the l.e.d's in your angel eyes you would have to take the lights apart and solder in brighter l.e.d's and the right resistor.

I wrote a 'How to' here>> www.206info.co.uk/Foru...place.html

If you took your time and was careful with the soldering iron you could make them as bright as you like..

Yeah only if they were good enough I would!:)

I know I've read it it's just I don't fancy doing it as I'm very heavy handed ad crap with a soldering iron!

I know I had them in before my MOT but the headlamp units I bought masked her continental and I didn't know:/ im after another set if you know anyone! Or if anyone fancies masking some crystals for me at a price?
