Hi everyone hope you can help i have a 206cc and the fuse 17 under bonnet keeps blowing have change wiper motor still the same,replace fuse and as soon as you turn ignition on it blows,i have tried it with the stalks disconnected and the mtr disconnected and still the same,any help please,thanks

Check the wiring might be a loose wire

also found if you leave ignition on you can replace fuse without blowing then turn key off then on fuse blows without touching wiper stalk

I've seen someone use a nail as the supply fuse for there amp, fire brigade wasnt very happy

check wiring hasnt been pinched or cut when fitting new motor, also check/swap wiper relay.
disconnect motor still blows its not the motor
disconnect relay, still blow its not the relay or wiring after it.
if it doent blow its the relay or wiring from it to the motor.
if not relay or motor disconnect stalk etc
do it in a methodical way and you will find the short.
Alternatively just dont drive in the rain.

no idea where the relay on a 206 is hiding. just a generic way of finding a short. disconnect circuit at every joint or component until fuse dosnt blow.

does the fuse just do the front motor....... or does it do other things like washers, rear wipers??
I dont know because I havent got the standard loom and fuse box any more
