Just a quick question, will an axle of a 2009 reg fit my 2002 plate? It states its drum beam with abs. Thanks in advance for the help guys

No problem that is assuming your car is multiplexxed, I would just check before you buy as a few were made as pre plex but left for a year or so before being registered.

Yep is definatly multiplexed, Ive learnt that. (2 button square key fob/radio control on stalk etc). I researched this as my com 2000 is buggered aswell!

sorry to hijack... im after an axle to fit the same car 2002 HDI... did you fit a new axle ej2? did it work etc im thinking of getting a gti180 axle... wondering if it will fit all fine?

Hi, I've messed up and bought a pre plex axle so I think I'm gonna have to swap all hubs and stub pins over. I'm not sure but I think gti 180 has extra bracing etc? Just make sure whatever you buy is post 2002 and it will all work fine

Im going to start it this weekend so ill try and take some pics as Im going along. The way Im going to do it is a bit long winded and everyone will probably jump in and say buy different axle etc but I bought this one and am a bit short of funds so ill put in the graft and make it work
