hi

I cannot seem to tighten the steering arm ball joitn it just keeps turning, any ideas please. its a taper fit but cant seem to tighten??

Bottom ball joint back in = drop the subframe
Dont buy cheap spring compressors, get a garage to do it with proper machine

Put a jack under the joint and jack it up a wee bit, once it has pressure on it it stops spinning and allows you to tighten the bolt Smile

I already tried this, will try again tommorow, just spent hours getting the the bottom ball joint in due to not knowing about dropping the subframe to get it back in.

Takes quite abit of pressure to stop it moving bud, but dont put so much on that you dont feel safe doing so if you get me?

Push it in start the nut then get some one to apply pressure to the steering as you turn the nut. Assuming you have both wheels on the floor should work.

all done, thanks all

bit of wood on the arms threads upto the top of inner wing, then trolly jack underneath the joint to crush it together.
