| Bottom ball joint back in = drop the subframe
Dont buy cheap spring compressors, get a garage to do it with proper machine | |

You dropped the subframe to replace the wishbone? I've never once had to do that and I've replaced wishbones on a few 206's now

I cant unserstand how so many people have problems doing 206 wishbones.
Far to many people taking on jobs beyond there skills.

when trying to get the bottom ball joint in the hub ,i find that if i push the hub
forward it makes a better angle for the ball joint to go in.
And i always put a bit of grease on,every bit helps.
it also helps if you ever want to get it off.
no jack ,no hammer

I use spring clamps to make the length of the strut shorter, clamp it right down and gives enough room
to lever the wishbone down with a pry bar and slot it in.
Did you replace the ball joint pinch bolts? Make sure there really tight.
Get the wheel off and have a look for movement with a bar

I found it easiest to unbolt the sub frame and drop it down on the passenger side to enable easier access for the ball joint. Either way, the shaft will come out at some point. |
i did that other day, was dead easy that way
