Just came back from the misus house and (because of the snow thought best i drove safely) i came into where i live, which is a cal-de-sac there was fresh snow and ice on the floor, and the car slipped and i smacked the curb pretty hard and now my drivers side wheel wont turn left or right

Sounds like you have broke something, most likely the steering tie rod OR track rod end.
Wait till the morning when its light & have a look.

yea looks like ive broken the rod end by looks of it i will get a better look tomorrow.
Do you know how much it could end up costing?

Tracck rod end your in luck just hope it hasent done more damage how hard did you hit the curb my friend did it i. The end it cost a new wheel track rod end and wishbone final sum £200

Not a difficult job hopefully if it's just a rod end but must have been some whack to snap it. Would have thought it has taken a chuck out of the wheel or tyre or possibly other suspension damage but like you say you won't be able to tell until it's light again.
I changed a track rod end today funnily enough. Cost me £19 for the part and then 20 notes to get it tracked up.

The wheel thats took the impact with the kerb really needs removing & sticking on the balancer to see if its buckled & to check if the tyre has been damaged.
Wheel alignment will need doing aswell after repair.
