Hi just wondering if anyone could recommend me a decent garage for a 180 cambelt change in the midlands/nw area ? .

Kyle also known as gti180boy from stafford is the one to go to........Although at the moment he seems to have disappeared.
His last message was from lanzarote before xmas, I've pmd him myself about getting mine done and I know others have tried to get hold of him....just hoping he's still about else it may be a main stealer.

Yeah i was all set to go to him but noticed the other day people were struggling to get hold of him, Iv'e found a Garage in Crewe that specailise in Renault sports they seem to have a decent reputation on clio sport and have said they will do it for a resonable price.

£396 using genuine peugeot stuff which I though was pretty good

Not a bad price.
Just got a quote of a mechanic I trust who has set up on his own after being service manager/Head mechanic at John Delanys in stockport for god knows how many years.
He comes in at £385 all in, it's going to him next week after he finishes putting the engine and gear box back in an damaged R8.
He's in trafford park so no need to travel which is a bonus.

just booked mine in at midland city motors near nuneaton for my 206 cc 2.0
£245 all in  that includes waterpump and antifreeze closest to that was £275 from another place in nuneaton

It's a lot easier on the 138 engines.....hence why it's cheaper
