I have a 206 05 plate, the problem I have is the batteries for the remote last no time at all three gone in as many days, it works fine with remote but just won't last, does anyone have any idea what the problem could be, at present I just use the key/ central locking, but miss a remote.
I would appreciate any help.
Many thanks
Elchippo

Sounds like either cheap batteries OR a faulty keyfob.
FYI: factory fitted keyfob battery on mine lasted 7+ years before the warning came up on the MFD to change it.

Can you please recommend what type and where I get these super long lasting batteries?
Try them, if not it has to be a faulty fob!
Thank you.
