if you can't find it near the 5th gear casting, you might not have one then

So how do you fill up if you don't have a filler hole? Where do I find this breather?

my gearbox as a round black plastic cap that pulls off just behind the clutch arm ,its a breather hole
if i know the box is empty i put 2ltr's in or i pour it in untill it comes out of the filler hole which is underneath .
i can fill it there it just messy with the pipe thing.
in my haynes i can see both filler holes for the boxes

If you have a filler plug ... why not put the oil back through that??
