Where do I put my gearbox oil?
How much goes in I f****d up and dropped it..
Any help would be great pictures I can't find anywhere to put it back in?

There should be a little metal plug in the top of the box and i think it takes 3ltrs.....this could be wrong though.

If you take the battery out, there's a breather hole on top of the gearbox, black plastic, that's the easiest. The proper fill point is on the side of the box, but it's a pain to fill up from there. I think it's 2 litres of oil, but you'll have to check. It's the same as the 138 engine, and the 2.0 hdi.

Just under £8 for a 2 litre bottle from any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer

Legends all done I took the battery off it was a lot easier that why so thanks everyone just under 2 litres it took

Its ok to do it through the breather if you know it's empty, otherwise you run the risk of over-filling it.

So we all know about the bodgers method, the correct method is even easier - just use the filler plug on the side!

agree with this man, also you can put the correct amount of oil in without overfilling

Drain is on the bottom.
Using a oil can is a good idea when re-filling, then you can easily measure how much you have put in.

I work in Citroen... In our garage we prefer to use 75W90, it resists better to high temperature, it solved many problems... Personally I add X1R friction eliminator to gearbox oil, it works wery good (it's totally unuseful in engine oil, insthead)...
