As recently mentioned, I'm about to bin the total fiasco Bilstein B4's and fit OEM pug ones.
I notice the more recent 2007 (but otherwise identical) 1.4i of the Mrs. has a different part number for them in Servicebox. That car goes like a dream suspension-wise even though they've done 50K km.
Will they fit or should I get the 'older' part numbers listed for my 2001?
Thanks for replies.
P.S. This is a part-no. question not a suspension-shock post.

Is there a price difference?
I personally would go with the part no. listed for your car. Although I didn't think there was a difference in the shocks.

It's possible they have different gas pressure inside them, but I'd go for the newer ones if they are identical in size. I can't see any changes made to them not being an improvement on ride and handling.

Is it the part number and then the super-seeded part number? Or is it a totally different section?

Here is the old type and part#, don't know what the codes in red are:

Newer type; about 15% more expensive according to Servicebox:

The 'new' ones were introduced on the January 7, 2002.
Just go for the new ones, but personally I'd stick with the B4's as they are OEM standard anyway.

That's what I thought when I got them despite my mechs livid protests.
I really want to get rid of the B4's now, though I know it's a waste and I'm bitting myself.
The ride is so terible ever since I fit them it feels totaly wrong.
It was unquestionably much better with the 'worn' (83K km) pug ones.
I don't know what happened since the rest of the front-end (wishbones, arb etc.) is all in pristine condition..
Thank you everyone.
P.S. Greek roads are very unforgiving to shocks.

Clicked on the red codes in servicebox and it brings-up a list of superceeded part numbers showing
that the later shocks have now replaced them.
