hi everyone
im not sure if this is a problem or just a normal thing ( never noticed it in other cars )
i have a 206 1.4 sport and have noticed a strange ticking noise every 30 or so seconds coming from the engine bay ( can be heard inside the car too with bonnet closed ) any info as to what it is would be very much appreciated
if im being dumb please dont laugh too hard at me

You sure its not your rear wiper relay? ;),
My sister was shouting at me saying I was chewing some gum too loud but it was the relay... LOL

Poor Engine lubrication, loose valve or leaking exhaust manifold.... so i just read on google ( if in doubt, google it ) as my oil levels are fine im guessing its one of the latter

to be honest, i couldnt tell you if it was on or not at the time of the noise. i dont hear it all the time which would probably explain it, as normally i knock the AC off when driving but have forgot at times. will have to look into that. thanks pal

my cambelt has started "tapping" on the inside of its casing, have a little squeeze on the casing and see if the noise changes/gets worse goes away etc
