Hi guys,

Cat is basically falling off but i know they are expensive.
Question is do i get it replaced or decat...

Ive been to loads of suppliers

Best Quote was £200 in cash. Not to sure if thats with the cat though.

But Best Quote With Cat Was £270 Not bad considering:

£350
£375
£400

From other stores.

Wondering how much should i be expecting when paying for for one including cat and not paying for a cat.

Plus is decating a 2.0 litre dturbo a problem, many of these have told me it ends up more expensive and that ill have all sort of problems as ecu will need changing ect.

Second question is:
Part one tyre 195 / 45 / R16 6mm tread... £30?

This good?

Cheers Guys thanks for reading.

Scott

Not on a diesel they ain't.

Scott - you won't need to change your ECU at all. Find your local powerflow dealer and get a whole system including decat for around £200.

Wrong on the de-cat they are not illegal on diesel and will pass the MOT with no problems.

The must have a cat to pass a MOT is only on petrols.

Have I not read that if a car had a cat when new it must have one fitted? Or is that just petrols?

Check with you local MOT station about the a legality. If legal get a powerflow cat bypass and exhaust system for the same money as a CAT only and sell you current pipe

There is nothing illegal about de-catting a diesel at all.

Did you tell them that you had a diesel or that you just had a Turbo?
